X's and O's

The purpose of 7v7 football is to improve player’s knowledge, understanding, and execution of the many elements of the passing game on both sides of the ball! Learning how to perform and break down cover 2 / 3 / 4   Man / and various forms of Combo coverage are the cornerstones to having a successful passing game.

One of the most popular features of the Gridiron 7v7 League is that statistics are kept throughout the season. Touchdown Passes Thrown and Caught, Interceptions, and Team Scores are posted weekly as well as league standings. Top performers receive awards as the league’s top Gunslinger, Go Getter, and Ball Hawk for that week of play in each age group. OPOY and DPOY awards will be given at seasons end.

Pre-Season Coaches Meeting

The Gridiron Team is committed to everyone involved when it comes to youth and high school football, including the coaches. A preseason coaches’ meeting (VIRTUAL) will be provided for all coaches in the program. This is a REQUIRED event for, at least, one coach per staff. The meeting will focus on league rules, stats, game day expectations, and notes on how to utilize 7v7 to get the maximum development and production out of your quarterback and team. Our goal for you and your team is not to win the championship, but to see weekly progress, individually and as a team that will translate to success during the fall season.
